Dr. B's Tip Of The Week.

Bad breath, or halitosis, in our pets can indicate a number of problems, like a poor diet or kidney issues. However, bad breath is more than likely due to dental &/or gum disease. Imagine if you brushed your teeth as often as your pet’s teeth were brushed! The cure for your pet’s bad breath will depend on the diagnosis. If it is due to a dental issue, your pet may need a professional cleaning. To prevent these issues, you can brush your pet’s teeth regularly with toothpaste designed for them, give them well-researched dental treats after a meal, or provide them with safe chew-toys. Durango Animal Hospital Testimonial "I had a hard time finding a vet that really cared about my pet as much as I did. I can go to a lot of different places that all offer the same kinds of services, but when it comes to really caring about my pet as much as I do, I have never found a place as wonderful as Durango Animal Hospital. Dr. B and Dr. C treated my dog Luke as if he was their very own dog when he was sick, and for that I will always be grateful. They are easily Las Vegas' best animal hospital. "
